Online orders, QR ordering, Swiggy and Zomato

Take orders from your QR menu and online store, receive Swiggy and Zomato orders in the same queue, and never lose a paid order.

Where online orders come from

  • QR ordering at the table. Each table's QR code opens your menu with the table already chosen. Guests order, and can pay, from their phone without installing an app.
  • Your own online store. A branded ordering site on your own web address, with no commission on its orders.
  • Swiggy and Zomato. Aggregator orders arrive in the same queue as everything else.

All of them appear on Current orders under New, with an Accept button. Accepting confirms the order and prints its KOT.

Accept orders automatically

  1. Tap the lightning button (Automations) at the top of the POS. Its settings apply to this device only, so each counter or tablet can work its own way.
  2. Turn on Accept online orders automatically. New app and QR orders are then accepted the moment they arrive and the KOT prints straight away. Staff still see a card for each one.
  3. Choose how the alert rings: once, or every 15 s, 30 s or minute until someone handles the order. Pick a sound and tap Test.

Keep auto-accept on one device per outlet, usually the billing counter, so each KOT prints once.

Swiggy and Zomato prices and menus

In Aggregator pricing, set the price guests pay on each platform (it can differ from your own menu), switch items on or off per platform, and pick packaging charges and tags. Nothing goes live until you tap Review changes, then Save and publish. Owners with several outlets can publish menus to many outlets at once from the owner console.

Paid, but no order: missing orders

Sometimes a guest pays online but the order never confirms, for example when their phone loses signal. Missing orders lists those payments so no paid order is lost.

  1. Give payments from the last few minutes a moment: they may still confirm.
  2. Search by payment reference, customer or phone, and find the same payment in your payment app.
  3. Only after you see the money in your payment app, tap Create order and confirm with Yes, payment received.

Table bookings

With Table bookings switched on in Diner app settings, guests can ask for a table from your QR menu. Requests land in Bookings: tap Confirm or Decline (with an optional reason), then Seated when they arrive or No-show if they don't. Guests are told when you confirm or decline.

Print each table's code from inside QRkey so it opens the right table. For posters, parcels and flyers, our free QR code generator makes a code for any link.

Prefer a walkthrough? In QRkey, open your account menu → Guides and start “Auto-accept online orders”. It points at each button on the real screen.
